## About this style

Broad sweeps, translucent wipes and scraped revisions overlap, with exposed ground taking part in the image. Forms resolve only at essential contours while other areas merge into directional gestures.

Gestural figuration lets recognizable forms emerge selectively from broad marks.

A swept shoulder and warm hand shape can preserve a body's weight even when other contours are wiped away.

### How the style changes different subjects

- **Portrait**: A few decisive marks hold the face together while broad gestures extend through body and clothing.

- **Landscape**: Sweeping marks connect trees, sky and ground into flowing space without describing every detail.

- **Object**: Object edges merge with the background; broad strokes and exposed ground suggest volume.

**Subjects**: Choose moving figures, windswept trees, flowers or bold still-life shapes with a clear gesture or contour as an anchor.

## Reusable style prompt

```text
Redraw the image as lyrical gestural painting. Use broad ragged sweeps, translucent wiped streaks, scraped and repainted passages, and overlapping arcs to organize the forms. Expose areas of raw canvas and join color masses through broad non-geometric smears. Let the subject emerge from a few decisive gestures, resolving only defining contour fragments. Convey force and flowing space through brush direction, density and overlapping paint.
