## About this style

Cut fragments of old printed images form dreamlike relationships through mismatched scale, repetition and overlap. Worn ink and visible edges keep these impossible combinations physically convincing.

Surreal collage keeps fragments believable while changing their scale and relationships.

A printed hand holding a miniature city can feel like two ordinary memories joined into a dream.

### How the style changes different subjects

- **Portrait**: Unexpected combinations of proportion, material or setting make a recognizable figure feel dreamlike.

- **Landscape**: Familiar landmarks change scale or position, disrupting ordinary distance and gravity.

- **Object**: Altered size, function or material turns an everyday object into a visual puzzle.

**Subjects**: Choose a single person, isolated building or distinctive everyday object with one or two clear unexpected relationships.

## Reusable style prompt

```text
Treat the subject and its existing details as pieces of vintage printed imagery. Create dreamlike associations through visually connected changes of scale, offset overlaps, and localized repetition. Keep cut edges visible, preserving aged-paper grain, slight color differences, and thin shadows between layers. Let realistic textures coexist with improbable relationships. Balance visual associations and negative space while keeping core identifying features stable and the collage grounded in existing content.
